The Atlanta Bogleheads® local chapter was formed on February 26, 2016. The initial meeting took place on September 10, 2016
Austin Bogleheads®
The Austin Bogleheads® local chapter held its first meeting on February 6, 2010. The chapter is active and continues to meet.
Birmingham Bogleheads®
The Central Alabama Bogleheads® local chapter was founded on September 15, 2007. The chapter is inactive. It was designed to serve the Birmingham metropolitan area.
Charlotte Bogleheads®
The Charlotte Bogleheads® meet four times a year in seasonal meetings. Historically, the group meets when it has an active coordinator. The chapter first met in 2008; resumed meeting in 2013; and resumed again in 2015.
DC Bogleheads®
The Washington DC Area Bogleheads normally meet on the third Sunday afternoon of every odd-numbered month.

DFW Bogleheads®
The Dallas-Fort Worth Bogleheads® is the first local chapter listed on the Bogleheads list of chapters. The chapter was founded on January 24, 2005, two years before the founding of the independent Bogleheads forum.
Meetings are informal gatherings; some meetings have pre-planned agendas but most do not.
Houston Bogleheads®
The Houston Bogleheads® local chapter was founded in 2007 and conducted meetings from July 12, 2007 through February 7, 2009. The original group met seven times, electing to meet at various Houston area restaurants
After a long hiatus, the chapter was renewed in 2018 and held its first meeting on March 31, 2018.
Little Rock Bogleheads®
The Little Rock Bogleheads® local chapter was formed on February 14, 2018.
Louisville Bogleheads®
The Louisville Bogleheads® local chapter (also referred to as the Derby City chapter) was formed on July 24, 2015. The chapter held its first meeting on September 10, 2015.
Oklahoma City Bogleheads® Local Chapter
The Oklahoma City Bogleheads® Local Chapter was formed on April 18, 2019. The chapter held its first meeting on May 4, 2019.
Richmond Bogleheads®
The Richmond/Central Virginia Bogleheads® local chapter is not active. The chapter held one meeting, on May 31, 2008 at the Tuckahoe branch of the Henrico County Public Library.
RTP NC Bogleheads®
The Research Triangle Park North Carolina local chapter began meeting in October 2009 and has met steadily since that date. Chapter coordinator Steve Thorpe has guest authored summaries of RTP meetings here on Financial Page.
San Antonio Bogleheads®
The San Antonio local chapter was established on August 17, 2017. The chapter held its first meeting on September 14, 2017.
South Florida Bogleheads®
The South Florida local chapter has met successfully in the Miami – Fort Lauderdale area over the past few years. Forum members Miriam2 and LazyNihilist have guest authored summaries of recent meetings here at Financial Page.
Tampa Bay Bogleheads®
The Tampa Bay Bogleheads® local chapter was founded on November 07, 2015. The group is active, meeting twice in 2016.
Woodlands Texas Bogleheads®
The Woodlands Texas Bogleheads® local chapter was founded on October 30, 2017. The chapter is holding its first meeting April 7, 2018.
